What is the current state of your heart and mind? Are you pre-conditioned to be mean and bitter? How ready are you to forgive others and to give to others?
I challenge you, to forgive all who have upset you. Release them, and watch your heart become more compassionate. Then, you’ll be ready to give freely and cheerfully. Then you’ll be more pleasing to God. Then you will invoke your own healing
Deuteronomy 15:8-10
8 Instead, be generous and lend them whatever they need.
9 Do not be mean-spirited and refuse someone a loan because the year for canceling debts is close at hand. If you refuse to make the loan and the needy person cries out to the LORD, you will be considered guilty of sin.
10 Give generously to the poor, not grudgingly, for the LORDÂ your God will bless you in everything you do.
Proverbs 17:22
22 A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
2 Corinthians 9:7b
“For God loves a cheerful giver.”
