First, because our Lord YESHUA sacrificed HIS perfect life, YAHWEH has decided to hold back HIS wrath and judgements on this world. Then, because of those saved by Lord YESHUA who live for HIM, HE has not yet consumed this wicked world because of its sinfullness. There is a remnant of righteous folks on earth and YAHWEH has chosen to spare this world because of them and because of HIS SON”s sacrifice.

Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein? Our FATHER, GOD who is YAHWEH, loves us HIS children and does not hide HIS will and/or some of HIS next action items from us. HE loves us so much that HE tells us what HE will do because HE loves us intimately. And because HE loves us intimately, HE hears the call and/or prayers and provides answers to those who obey HIM and live righeously before HIM.

Like for Abraham and Sarah, it seemed impossible for them to bear a child in their old age. But, YAHWEH, our GOD Almighty and miracle worker, made it possible for them. Hence, YAHWEH’s declarative question in verse 14, “Is any thing too hard for the LORD?”

Like in the old testament, YAHWEH made a covenant with HIS people, and HE kept that covenant. Now we have a new and better covenant through our Lord and Savior Christ YESHUA. And YAHWEH who kept HIS promise and covenant then will keep this new covenant and promise now in YESHUA’s Holy name, Amen 🙏🏿

YAHWEH sees us in our sufferings and is compassionate enough to send us help and/or to intervene to bring us relief or deliverance.
