Beloved, how do we memorialize or celebrate the memories of what God has done for us so that our children know how great and powerful God is? Think about it, then start to do this so our children get to know our great God.

Joshua 4:1-10
1 And it came to pass, when all the people had completely crossed over the Jordan, that the Lord spoke to Joshua, saying: 
2 “Take for yourselves twelve men from the people, one man from every tribe, 
3 and command them, saying, ‘Take for yourselves twelve stones from here, out of the midst of the Jordan, from the place where the priests’ feet stood firm. You shall carry them over with you and leave them in the lodging place where you lodge tonight.’ ”
4 Then Joshua called the twelve men whom he had appointed from the children of Israel, one man from every tribe; 
5 and Joshua said to them: “Cross over before the ark of the Lord your God into the midst of the Jordan, and each one of you take up a stone on his shoulder, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, 
6 that this may be a sign among you when your children ask in time to come, saying, ‘What do these stones mean to you?’ 
7 Then you shall answer them that the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed over the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off. And these stones shall be for a memorial to the children of Israel forever.”
8 And the children of Israel did so, just as Joshua commanded, and took up twelve stones from the midst of the Jordan, as the Lord had spoken to Joshua, according to the number of the tribes of the children of Israel, and carried them over with them to the place where they lodged, and laid them down there. 
9 Then Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood; and they are there to this day.
10 So the priests who bore the ark stood in the midst of the Jordan until everything was finished that the Lord had commanded Joshua to speak to the people, according to all that Moses had commanded Joshua; and the people hurried and crossed over. 

Beloved, God promised to deliver us and HIS promise will surely come to pass if we follow HIS very words and directions and serve only HIM. We will see the Salvation of our God either here or on HIS Day. EVEN IF it seems no deliverance will come, I would still rather believe in God and praise HIM. Those who see you stand firm in your faith will also see proof of God’s answers and manifestation in your life.

Joshua 3:17
17 Then the priests who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan; and all Israel crossed over on dry ground, until all the people had crossed completely over the Jordan.

Exodus 14:13
13 Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.

Daniel 3:16-18
16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied, “O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you. 
17 If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. 
18 But even if he doesn’t, we want to make it clear to you, Your Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up.”

Daniel 3:28-29
28 Then Nebuchadnezzar said, “Praise to the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego! He sent his angel to rescue his servants who trusted in him. They defied the king’s command and were willing to die rather than serve or worship any god except their own God. 
29 Therefore, I make this decree: If any people, whatever their race or nation or language, speak a word against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, they will be torn limb from limb, and their houses will be turned into heaps of rubble. There is no other god who can rescue like this!”

Beloved, in the midst of all these uncertainties, tumult, and constant barrage of bad news from the pandemic, we can and must trust in God to surrender our thougts to HIM in order to have and maintain peace. For every negative and ungodly thought that comes, cast it down and keep your minds on GOD. Your life and peace depends on it.

Isaiah 26:3
3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Romans 15:13
13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

John 14:27
27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Philippians 4:6-8
6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things. 

Beloved, if we could always remember this, all of creation and anything created comes to a screeching halt at the command of God. Everything stands still whenever HE decides they should and when HE speaks or commands it. Your Daddy is the greatest most powerfullest person. And HE loves us and will stop seas to bring us to deliverance. Nothing is too difficult for HIM. Always keep this in mind the next time the impossible shows up in front of you. Live for HIM like Joshua and our Lord JESUS and HE will do the impossible to glorify HIS name.

Joshua 3:14-16
14 So it was, when the people set out from their camp to cross over the Jordan, with the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people, 
15 and as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the whole time of harvest), 
16 that the waters which came down from upstream stood still, and rose in a heap very far away [e]at Adam, the city that is beside Zaretan. So the waters that went down into the Sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, failed, and were cut off; and the people crossed over opposite Jericho. 

Joshua 10:12-13
12 Then Joshua spoke to the Lord in the day when the Lord delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon;
And Moon, in the Valley of Aijalon.”
13 So the sun stood still,
And the moon stopped,
Till the people had revenge
Upon their enemies.

Mark 4:39-41
39 Then He arose and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace,[g] be still!” And the wind ceased and there was a great calm. 
40 But He said to them, “Why are you so fearful? How[h] is it that you have no faith?” 
41 And they feared exceedingly, and said to one another, “Who can this be, that even the wind and the sea obey Him!”

A 4th of July Special – Choosing Truth Over Lies. This Is Freedom and Genuinely Liberating 😁

God detests lying. Lying is deceitful. I was a liar and was deceitful. In my experience, I lied to hide the truth, to cover my shame, because I was afraid, because I did not want my sins exposed, or because I did not want to share my blessings with others. I could go on…Now and in more recent times I am learning to surrender all to God, to be transparent and honest even if it hurts me and I’m teaching my sons the same. Like I just told them a few days ago, always tell the truth even if you think it will get you in trouble. And someone said to me recently, you are sharing and revealing a lot about yourself. Yes, I am and plan to continue to do so because I am not afraid nor ashamed anymore because I have been freed from the sins of my past and am now living a new life in Christ. Though not perfect, I now know to quickly confess my sins to God and move on believing and receiving HIS forgiveness. I must maintain this truth standard so I can continue to stand free and without shame before God. Then, I must remain honest and tell the truth as this is the only way I can walk in unity, love and in the power of God HE has given us to do HIS will, to set the captives free, and to raise our family into looking and living like Christ did. We must stand out, be light without a trace of lies in us. How else can we be Other i.e. holy or outstanding like our God. We must imitate Christ 1 Corinthians 11:1. So, I am compelled to be truthful for the sake of the gospel and my family. My sons must see that I am true to my words and actions so they imitate the same. There is no greater legacy I can leave behind other than living for God, teaching them love, and teaching them truth, honesty, integrity i.e. keeping your words.

Happy 4th of July and choose to set yourself free by living truthfully.

Beloved, our God will hasten to perform what HE promised. HE is the “As Soon As” God. Meaning that as soon as it is HIS timing, HE will open that door, part that sea, do the miraculous, blow our minds to bring to pass HIS will for us or those things we must do to proclaim or show HIS glory in, for and through us in this earth. I double dog dare you to believe in HIM and HIS word. HE will do HIS will quickly!

Joshua 3:13
13 And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the Lord, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from upstream, and they shall stand as a heap.”

Jeremiah 1:12
12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Romans 9:28
28 For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

Beloved, are you not glad and grateful that our God goes before us to clear the path HE orders our steps into? Even in the face of darkness, pandemics, wars, crisis, persecution, false accusations, HE is strong and mighty to leads us through pain and sufferings. But, I am comforted that the end for us, whenever that is, is guaranteed glorious in JESUS name, Ameeeeeen! So trust in HIM, look to HIM not man!

Joshua 3:11
11 Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over before you into the Jordan. 

Isaiah 42:16
16 I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them.

Psalm 23:4
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Beloved, anyone or anything that is an enemy to you, God will defeat in JESUS name, Ameeeeeen!

Joshua 3:9-10
9 So Joshua said to the children of Israel, “Come here, and hear the words of the Lord your God.” 
10 And Joshua said, “By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will without fail drive out from before you the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Hivites and the Perizzites and the Girgashites and the Amorites and the Jebusites:

Beloved, this day of exaltation for God’s people was re-established and made permanent for all eternity in and through Christ our Lord JESUS. So please stop looking down on yourself. The Almighty God exalts you! You are God’s special people and if you believe in HIM and have confessed HIM as Savior and Lord, then hold your heads up high and claim your royalty and priesthood.

Joshua 3:7-8
7 And the Lord said to Joshua, “This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. 
8 You shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, ‘When you have come to the edge of the water of the Jordan, you shall stand in the Jordan.’ ”
