Do You Turn A Blind Eye To Your Neighbors Needs?

Do we care about our neighbors enough to give them help if they need it? If we saw our neighbor or their property in need or in danger, would you help? I think this is where love Thy neighbor as thyself applies. Don’t you?

Deuteronomy 23:1-4
1“If you see your neighbor’s ox or sheep or goat wandering away, don’t ignore your responsibility.a Take it back to its owner.
2 If its owner does not live nearby or you don’t know who the owner is, take it to your place and keep it until the owner comes looking for it. Then you must return it.
3 Do the same if you find your neighbor’s donkey, clothing, or anything else your neighbor loses. Don’t ignore your responsibility.
4 “If you see that your neighbor’s donkey or ox has collapsed on the road, do not look the other way. Go and help your neighbor get it back on its feet!

Mark 12:31
The second most important commandment is this: ‘Love your neighbor as you love yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these.”

He Took Our Curses Hallelujaaaah!!!!!

If you ever wondered where cursed is anyone who hangs on a tree is first found, it’s in the verses in Deuteronomy below. Our Lord Jesus, took upon Himself all curses and now we are redeemed from the curse because of Him. Praise to our God who wrought our salvation in and through Christ our Lord and Savior, Amen!

Deuteronomy 21:22-23
22 “If someone has committed a crime worthy of death and is executed and hung on a tree
23 the body must not remain hanging from the tree overnight. You must bury the body that same day, for anyone who is hung is cursed in the sight of God. In this way, you will prevent the defilement of the land the LORD your God is giving you as your special possession.

Galatians 3:13
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Don’t Waste Any Resource In Your Possession

My Beloved, please take this dear to heart and plan to use this everyday until our Lord Jesus comes. Below is your strategy to win physical battles. Below tells us to identify your useful resources and manage them well. Don’t waste or misuse good resources rather manage them for long term use in honor of God and for your family’s gain. Anything else, be witty to use to overcome and disarm the enemy with in short, let nothing be wasted in your hands

Deuteronomy 20:19-20
19 “When you are attacking a town and the war drags on, you must not cut down the trees with your axes. You may eat the fruit, but do not cut down the trees. Are the trees your enemies, that you should attack them?
20 You may only cut down trees that you know are not valuable for food. Use them to make the equipment you need to attack the enemy town until it falls.

Get Rid Of Those Things That Cause You To Sin

This has been hard to do, but I’m getting there. That is, getting rid of those things that distract us from God and His word. Those sins that easily overtake us. What are those for you? Lord help us in Jesus name, Amen!

Deuteronomy 20:15-18
15 “But these instructions apply only to distant towns, not to the towns of the nations in the land you will enter. 16 In those towns that the LORD your God is giving you as a special possession, destroy every living thing. 17 You must completely destroy the Hittites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites, just as the LORD your God has commanded you. 18 This will prevent the people of the land from teaching you to imitate their detestable customs in the worship of their gods, which would cause you to sin deeply against the LORD your God.

Hebrews 12:1
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

Please First Seek Peace

Please, first seek peace. This is what God requests for us to do when dealing with our enemies at the verge of war. If we are to seek peace with enemies, how should we deal with friends, and even more critical family? Please pause for as long as you need, evaluate your relationships. Are you treating your family and friends like they are the enemy? How would God treat or handle them? Are we to follow God’s example?

Deuteronomy 20:10-13
10 “As you approach a town to attack it, you must first offer its people terms for peace.
11 If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor.
12 But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town.

Hebrews 12:14
14 Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord.

Romans 12:18
18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.

Let The Strong Fight For The Weak Or Unprepared

Please let us remember that some of us may be distracted or afraid as we all walk this life for Christ and our God. God understands and expects for those with family responsibilities or who are afraid to take care of home or their fears first.

Let the strong fight for the weak or unprepared. And then all share in the Victory and spoils of battle. After all, isn’t that what our Lord Jesus did for us fought our enemy, died on the cross, conquered death, hell and the grave to make us more than conquerors?

Deuteronomy 20:5-8
5 “Then the officers of the army must address the troops and say, ‘Has anyone here just built a new house but not yet dedicated it? If so, you may go home! You might be killed in the battle, and someone else would dedicate your house.
6 Has anyone here just planted a vineyard but not yet eaten any of its fruit? If so, you may go home! You might die in battle, and someone else would eat the first fruit.
7 Has anyone here just become engaged to a woman but not yet married her? Well, you may go home and get married! You might die in the battle, and someone else would marry her.’
8 “Then the officers will also say, ‘Is anyone here afraid or worried? If you are, you may go home before you frighten anyone else.’

1 Samuel 30:21-25 (For Context Read 1-31)
21 Then David returned to the brook Besor and met up with the 200 men who had been left behind because they were too exhausted to go with him. They went out to meet David and his men, and David greeted them joyfully.
22 But some evil troublemakers among David’s men said, “They didn’t go with us, so they can’t have any of the plunder we recovered. Give them their wives and children, and tell them to be gone.”
23 But David said, “No, my brothers! Don’t be selfish with what the LORD has given us. He has kept us safe and helped us defeat the band of raiders that attacked us.
24 Who will listen when you talk like this? We share and share alike—those who go to battle and those who guard the equipment.”
25 From then on David made this a decree and regulation for Israel, and it is still followed today.

Priests, Pray Over And Encourage Your FAM Before You Send Them Out To The World Each Day

My Beloved, are you the priest of your home? If you are, you may already know this. You should, each day, cover your family with prayer, encouragement and direction before they go to war, out into the world of darkness, each day. Do not abdicate priests and priestesses, do your duty! Remind you troops that God is with them and HE will fight for them. We have the Victory in our Lord Jesus!

Deuteronomy 20:1-4
1 “When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you!
2 When you prepare for battle, the priest must come forward to speak to the troops.
3 He will say to them, ‘Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemies today! Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them.
4 For the LORD your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’

God Will Bless You To Help Others, If We First Live In Obedience To His Word

God is awesome and thanks be to our Lord Jesus, The Christ, we now experience so much more grace now than was dealt in the old testament. Nevertheless, we see that God is very concerned about justice in our homes and communities as the rest of Deuteronomy 19 shows. Please read rest of Deuteronomy 19:5-21

I do want to highlight that God is ready to hand over to us, and has already prepared, wealth, lands, authority for us to use to show mercy to others in trouble, but first we have to prove and show our obedience before He does. The same blessings promised to our spiritual ancestors (Patriarchs) apply to us.

Deuteronomy 19:8-9
8 “And if the LORD your God enlarges your territory, as he swore to your ancestors, and gives you all the land he promised them,
9 you must designate three additional cities of refuge. (He will give you this land if you are careful to obey all the commands I have given you—if you always love the LORD your God and walk in his ways.)

Luke 16:10
10 “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities.

Who Is More Merciful, God Or Men?

Ask yourself, who shows more mercy and grace God or men? Answer is obvious, God does! Men spin up prisons while God set up cities of refuge for those who committed involuntary manslaughter. If God is more merciful, why do we appreciate Him less and give less attention to Him?

Deuteronomy 19:1-4
1 “When the LORD your God destroys the nations whose land he is giving you, you will take over their land and settle in their towns and homes.
2 Then you must set apart three cities of refuge in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
3 Survey the territory,a and divide the land the LORD your God is giving you into three districts, with one of these cities in each district. Then anyone who has killed someone can flee to one of the cities of refuge for safety.
4 “If someone kills another person unintentionally, without previous hostility, the slayer may flee to any of these cities to live in safety.

Honor And Respect God’s Prophets

Our God has instructed us to respect and honor His prophets. Are there any prophets in our time and lives today? How do we identify a real or false prophet? Is this valid and important to us today? You decide, but please read 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 and below

Deuteronomy 18:18-22
18 I will raise up a prophet like you from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell the people everything I command him.
19 I will personally deal with anyone who will not listen to the messages the prophet proclaims on my behalf.
20 But any prophet who falsely claims to speak in my name or who speaks in the name of another god must die.’
21 “But you may wonder, ‘How will we know whether or not a prophecy is from the LORD?’
22 If the prophet speaks in the LORD’s name but his prediction does not happen or come true, you will know that the LORD did not give that message. That prophet has spoken without my authority and need not be feared.
