What His Birth, Life, Death And Resurrection Bought Us

Sunday has come Hallelujah!

We are victorious because He is risen and seated on the right hand of God our Father and on His own throne. The enemy is under His feet and we are parts of His body which places the enemy under our feet too if we: 1. Are seated with Christ (Ephesians 2:6),
2. Live as Christ (Colossians 2:6),
3. Live in Christ (Philippians 4:7 and Ephesians 1:3),
4. Truly believe in Christ (Mark 16:15-18; Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:23; Luke 1: 27, 34)
5. Have faith in God (1 John 5:4),
6. Remain in Christ (John 15:1-26),
7. Be identified as His love ones (Romans 8:37 and Ephesians 1:13),
8. Live so that it is evident He is in us (1 John 4:4),
9. Love God so the world knows (John 14:30-31),
10. Maintain all He has given us until He returns (Luke 19:11-13),
11. Proclaim Him to the world you meet and see (1 Peter 2:9), and
12. Give testimonies of and about Christ and all He has done and does for you Revelation 12:11).

Our God Is Asking An Easy Task, Obey Him

Is God asking us to do something impossible by asking us to obey Him? Does this world have a better offer so good that we choose to resist or refuse a loving and giving God?

Deuteronomy 12:11-14
11 Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach.
12 It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”
13 Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”
14 No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it.

Choose Life, Choose Blessings

We choose when to cross over to our promised land, we choose how we will live by the decisions we make either to believe God and obey or disbelieve Him and disobey. The choices we make will determine when we enter our own promise or if we have life or death.

Deuteronomy 12:10
10 But you will cross the Jordan and settle in the land the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, and he will give you rest from all your enemies around you so that you will live in safety.

Deuteronomy 30:15-16
15 See, I set before you today life and prosperity, death and destruction. 16 For I command you today to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him, and to keep his commands, decrees and laws; then you will live and increase, and the Lord your God will bless you in the land you are entering to possess.

How He Loves Us So Much

What kind of love is this?

That God would sacrifice his only Son to save us. And more than that, both our Lord Jesus and The Holy Spirit pray for us, while our Father goes before us to make sure the path in front of us is safe. Who would not want to be a part of this family?

John 3:16
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Isaiah 42:16
16 I will bring the blind by a way that they do not know. I will lead them in paths that they do not know. I will make darkness light before them, and crooked places straight. I will do these things, and I will not forsake them.

Serve Others With The Gift God Gave You

God has given each of us unique gifts, talents, and passions to use to serve others. We have exactly what we need and what God intended for us to have to serve Him and to love others. This Christmas season and always, like Jesus did, use your gift to go about doing good and serving any you can. You have the gift, so use it and don’t sit on it.

1 Corinthians 12:4-7
4 There are different kinds of spiritual gifts, but the same Spirit is the source of them all.
5 There are different kinds of service, but we serve the same Lord.
6 God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us.
7 A spiritual gift is given to each of us so we can help each other.

Acts 10:38
38 And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

Live Carefully To Please God As Children Of Light

Let’s admit to it, we still have work to do and we will become exactly like our Lord Jesus only when we see Him face to face. Meanwhile, b4 that perfection day comes, we can’t just act willy nilly doing whatever we want. We have to walk as if on egg shells carefully making sure our every step counts to God’s glory.

Deuteronomy 12:8-9
8 You are not to do as we do here today, everyone doing as they see fit,
9 since you have not yet reached the resting place and the inheritance the Lord your God is giving you.

Ephesians 5:8-17
8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light
9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10 and find out what pleases the Lord.
11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.
13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light.
14 This is why it is said:

“Wake up, sleeper,
rise from the dead,
and Christ will shine on you.”

15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise,
16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

1 John 3:1-3
1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

Your Favorite Place To Praise And Celebrate God For Blessing You

Do you have a favorite place to fellowship with God? Have you prepared a place, any place, where you know you experience and feel His presence? It’s not a specific temple, but it’s anywhere you decide to praise and celebrate Him because He has blessed you. Learn to praise and thak Him and enjoy God’s presence.

Deuteronomy 12:5-7
5 But you are to seek the place the Lord your God will choose from among all your tribes to put his Name there for his dwelling. To that place you must go;
6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks.
7 There, in the presence of the Lord your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord your God has blessed you.

Our God Will Help Us Escape From Trouble

God will help us escape from that horrible situation. He will make a way of escape for us.

1 Corinthians 10:13
13 The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

As Children Of God And Light, We Expose And Extinguish Darkness

Worshipping God is not only done through singing, dancing, or praying. Our every life’s choices and lifestyle must also be worship to God. The things we say and do and how we live must show to the world that we are His children.

We cannot and must not live like they do so we do not taint the gospel of our Lord Jesus or our testimonies. We must intentionally worship God by living as He showed us to through Christ orLord Jesus ife o earth. Remember, we are children of light and darkness must be exposed through us and because of us.

Deuteronomy 12:1-4
1 These are the decrees and laws you must be careful to follow in the land that the Lord, the God of your ancestors, has given you to possess—as long as you live in the land.
2 Destroy completely all the places on the high mountains, on the hills and under every spreading tree, where the nations you are dispossessing worship their gods.
3 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and burn their Asherah poles in the fire; cut down the idols of their gods and wipe out their names from those places.
4 You must not worship the Lord your God in their way.

A Prayer Sent From A Friend

A Prayer sent to me by a friend:

Thank You God for allowing us to see things from a Godly point of view.

Give us the proper interpretation of what we see. Increase our discernment of spirits and give us Godly wisdom and Godly counsel on what to do with what you put before us. Help us not to reprimand others for doing Godly things; things we simply do not understand. Help us to hold our peace and bridle our tongues. Never speaking our revealed secrets before the appropriate time.

Guide us through this life’s process so that we don’t hinder your plan in our lives or in the lives of others. Give us understanding. Help us to turn from our selfish ways, take up our crosses and follow You.

Mark 8:31-9:1; Matthew 16:21-28; Luke 9:21-27; James 1:26; Proverbs 4:7; Jeremiah 1:7-13; 1 Corinthians 12:10; Isaiah 11:2
