Pleasing God Will Please You

What does God, The Father of our Savior and Lord Jesus delight in most? Those who please Him. I dare you to be obedient and to put a smile on God’s face.

Psalm 37:3-7
3 Trust in the LORD and do good. Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
4 Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires.
5 Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.
6 He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn, and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.
7 Be still in the presence of the LORD, and wait patiently for him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes.

Almighty God Prays For Us. Wooooow!

Please stop, think and appreciate that God Almighty loves us so much. And I don’t know what can be more encouraging than knowing that our Lord Jesus and The Holy Spirit are praying for us. They knows our needs even when we don’t know what to pray about. They are praying for us.

Romans 8:34
34: No one can condemn you for what you’ve done. “It is God who justifies. Who will bring a charge against those whom God has chosen?” No one can condemn you cause God doesn’t.

Hebrews 7:22-26
22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant.
23 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office;
24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood.
25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.
26 Such a high priest truly meets our need—one who is holy, blameless, pure, set apart from sinners, exalted above the heavens.

After Your Blessings Do Not Become Complacent And Yield To Sin

Why did God ask to declare the blessings and curses on different mounts in Deuteronomy 11:29-32?

He needed Israel to remember the differences and consequences if they obeyed or disobeyed Him. Especially on the verge of taking the promise He made to them. He also needed to encourage those who deserved the blessings as well as callout those who were in sin. The tendency is for us to relax and become complacent after we’ve received a blessing or have the manifested answers to our prayers.

Are you about to receive a promise or have already received it? Be careful you don’t become complacent and fall back into sin. May God help us be and stay obedient even after getting blessings or manfested answers to our prayers.

29 When the Lord your God has brought you into the land you are entering to possess, you are to proclaim on Mount Gerizim the blessings, and on Mount Ebal the curses.
30 As you know, these mountains are across the Jordan, westward, toward the setting sun, near the great trees of Moreh, in the territory of those Canaanites living in the Arabah in the vicinity of Gilgal.
31 You are about to cross the Jordan to enter and take possession of the land the Lord your God is giving you. When you have taken it over and are living there,
32 be sure that you obey all the decrees and laws I am setting before you today.

Let Your Labor Of Love Never Stop

Thank God for a day to rest from all of our labors. One labor that should never take a rest is our Labor of Love.

1 Thessalonians 1:3
Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ, in the sight of God and our Father;

So may God help us truly labor to love without quitting in Jesus name, Amen!

Blessed Or Cursed, Which Would You Rather Be?

So what would you rather be? Blessed or cursed? I think this math is easy 😁😂😃 If it helps, b comes before c so go with b for blessings 😉

Seriously though, it’d be best to live in peace knowing you’re pleasing God. So like Nike says, “Just Do It” Yes restrain from the easy, fleshly, selfish I want it now decisions and choose to honor God and he goin bless ya!

Deuteronomy 11:26-28
26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— 27 the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today;
28 the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known.

Your Obedience To God, Brings You Success By God’s Hands

My brethren in Christ, you have heard or read this before or maybe even 1,000 times. It is still true today as it was before. Love God, cling to Him, obey His words and see what comes of it.

Deuteronomy 11:22-25
22 If you carefully observe all these commands I am giving you to follow — to love the Lord your God, to walk in obedience to him and to hold fast to him—
23 then the Lord will drive out all these nations before you, and you will dispossess nations larger and stronger than you.
24 Every place where you set your foot will be yours: Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the Euphrates River to the Mediterranean Sea.
25 No one will be able to stand against you. The Lord your God, as he promised you, will put the terror and fear of you on the whole land, wherever you go.

What’s On Your Mind?

So what should be on our minds? What should we carry around with us all day? What should we talk about all day and night?

Definitely not anger, irritation, bitterness, malice. And definitely not talking gossip and bad or mad words about that person or the other regardless of what they’ve done.

God’s words should be on our hearts and minds. And it is Him that all of our conversations should be about. So if you want more of God or His blessings and peace well then change your attitude, mind and words and align them to God and His word.

Deuteronomy 11:18-21
18 Fix these words of mine in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.
19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
20 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates,
21 so that your days and the days of your children may be many in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors, as many as the days that the heavens are above the earth.

Why Am I Not Doing Greater Works As Our Lord Christ Jesus Said?

So, I am re-evaluating my life and choices and desperately need to live like My Lord an Savior Jesus did.

He said we can do what He did and greater so why aren’t we doing that? Are we saying Jesus lied when He said that or are we just lazy and selfish to try to live and act like Christ Jesus when He walked on this earth?
Our Lord Jesus does love us and He has given us power to live a lifestyle that pleases God. Choose to change, read to see how our Lord lived and the instructions He gave us for life. Do this and see God’s power manifest to bring blessings and healing for you and I.

John 14:12
12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father.

2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
