If it were not important, why would the CREATOR of all galaxies, The ALMIGHTY GOD, create Adam and Eve and ask them to be fruitful and multiply? Why would HE spend time listing the many ancestral trees mentioned in the Holy Scriptures? Would any child have been born if male and female spouses did not procreate? Knowing your identity is linked to knowing who you are and where you are from including your ancestors. In most instances, our purpose on earth is directly linked to the families we are born into or that we marry into and there can be legace/inheritance passed down to us that generations after need and use to maintain godly lifestyles. Take for example the life and descends from Abraham to Isaac, Jacob leading to David the King and eventually to our Lord YESHUA. Family is very important.‭

Genesis 36:1-5 Now this is the genealogy of Esau, who is Edom. Esau took his wives from the daughters of Canaan: Adah the daughter of Elon the Hittite; Aholibamah the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon the Hivite; and Basemath, Ishmael’s daughter, sister of Nebajoth. Now Adah bore Eliphaz to Esau, and Basemath bore Reuel. And Aholibamah bore Jeush, Jaalam, and Korah. Genesis 5 This verse begins with the genealogy of Adam, stating that God created Adam in his likeness, blessed him, and named him on the day of his creation. It also says that after Adam lived 130 years, he fathered a son named Shet, and after Shet was born, Adam lived another 800 years and had more children.

Matthew 1:1–17 This passage begins the Gospel of Matthew with the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham. It lists 27 generations from David to Joseph, and notes that there were 14 generations from Abraham to David, 14 from David to the exile to Babylon, and 14 from the exile to the Messiah.

Luke 3:23–38 This passage begins the genealogy of Jesus with Jesus, the son of Joseph, and follows his line back to Adam, recording 77 generations. It lists 42 generations from David to Joseph, which differs from Matthew’s list, and also disagrees on who Joseph’s father was.

YAHWEH cares for us both in life and in death and HE holds sacred the death and burial of HIS children. Our bodies are HIS temples and as such we should take care of them both in life and in death. We wholly belong to YAHWEH and as such, as Reverence to HIM, we must respect and bury HIS people well.

Do you have a new name given by our FATHER? Do you need a new name? Like Benjamin, he was initially named Ben-oni which meant child of my sorrow. But, who wants to live all their lives identified by sorrows? Instead, his Father Jacob renamed him Benjamin which means son of the right hand which describes someone in a place of authority and/or power just like how our Lord YESHUA is sitting on the right hand of YAHWEH our Heavenly FATHER. So I ask again, do you need a new name? Consider surrendering to and accepting the Lord YESHUA as your Savior so HE could give you a new name and purpose identified with HIM.

Jacob was willing to give his family and all things he had earned or had been blessed with to Esau in order to appease him and make peace with him. What will you give to make peace? Does it matter to make peace and reconcile after a disagreement? See what our FATHER YAHWEH says below

Have you experienced hurt from a broken relationship? Worse still, are you the one who caused the hurt in the relationship?Regardless of what side of the fence you are on, all parties in that broken relationship need healing. Jacob, now named Israel, knew this and after he had reconciled with YAHWEH, he had to make amends with his brother Esau. He had to humble himself and prepare to ask for forgiveness from Esau which he did in an elaborate fashion. And Esau forgave him and took him back. Healing and restoration took place in Jacob and Esau’s relationship after they owned up to their faults and forgave each other.‭

Genesis 32:24-32 And Jacob was left alone. And a man wrestled with him until the breaking of the day. When the man saw that he did not prevail against Jacob, he touched his hip socket, and Jacob’s hip was put out of joint as he wrestled with him. Because of the relationship and covenant we have with our FATHER, YAHWEH, HE has given us benefits and privileges before men and with HIM. We are blessed by men and GOD Halleluuuuuuyaaaaah.
