Don’t Look Back, Don’t Doubt God

No matter how hard or impossible the situation may be, please do not doubt God or desire to go back where you were when you thought things were easier like the Israelites did. Trust completely in God for He will come through for us.

Numbers 11:23
23 The Lord answered Moses, “Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”

God Will Chase Our Enemies Away

As we all know, it is impossible for darkness to overcome light. Even a tiny candle light can illuminate a grossly dark room. So also is it impossible for our enemies to remain in God’s presence. So always find yourself or keep yourself in the light (in God’s presence). God has promised to chase our enemies away

Numbers 10:34-36
34 The cloud of the Lord was over them by day when they set out from the camp.
35 Whenever the ark set out, Moses said,
“Rise up, Lord!
May your enemies be scattered;
may your foes flee before you.”
36 Whenever it came to rest, he said,
“Return, Lord,
to the countless thousands of Israel.”

Joshua 23:10
10 Each one of you will put to flight a thousand of the enemy, for the LORD your God fights for you, just as he has promised.

People You Are Divinely Connected To

Another blessing God gives us is the people He connects us with. These people are divinely connected to us and are to help us with the purpose/vision God has given us. May God help us discern who these people are and may we appreciate them and bless them with things God blesses us with as they help us in Jesus name, Amen.

Numbers 10:29-32
29 Now Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are setting out for the place about which the Lord said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us and we will treat you well, for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”
30 He answered, “No, I will not go; I am going back to my own land and my own people.”
31 But Moses said, “Please do not leave us. You know where we should camp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
32 If you come with us, we will share with you whatever good things the Lord gives us.”

Wait Until God Says Move

Don’t despise the wait and don’t be upset when God says wait. His grace is sufficient for you during the wait and HE has sent our ministering angels and men to go bring what we need (our blessings). Sit when God says sit and move when HE says move.

Numbers 9:8 and 21-23
8 Moses answered them, “Wait until I find out what the Lord commands concerning you.”

21 Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out.
22 Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.
23 At the Lord’s command they encamped, and at the Lord’s command they set out. They obeyed the Lord’s order, in accordance with his command through Moses.

God’s Retirement Age for Us Is 50

I was shocked to re-realize this verse of scripture. Our God actually desires for us to retire at 50 after on working 25 years. Ain’t God good? If that is not a blessing to desire for, I wonder what is. Somehow, I missed this when I read this in the past, but it sure stood out for me today. If this is your desire, if you’re not already 50 (lol snicker snicker), it’s not a bad thing to hope for. And who said there’s no retirement for people doing God’s work? I know this says it applies to the Levite’s, but didn’t God say we were His priests and kings in Rev. 1:6 and 5:10

Numbers 8:23-26
23 The Lord said to Moses,
24 “This applies to the Levites: Men twenty-five years old or more shall come to take part in the work at the tent of meeting,
25 but at the age of fifty, they must retire from their regular service and work no longer.
26 They may assist their brothers in performing their duties at the tent of meeting, but they themselves must not do the work.

How Is Your Sacrifice To God?

What type of offering are you bringing to the Lord each day? As children of God we are each leaders in one aspect of life or the other so we are expected to set a good example with all we do and the offerings we give to God. Don’t fret as I honestly believe this is more than just money we give in church. What other things can you give that is sacrificial and pleasing to God?

Please read Numbers 7
Ephesians 5:2
New International Version
2 and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

New Living Translation
2 Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.

God Cares About Our Whole Well-Being

Our God cares for us so much that HE pays attention to the smallest details about us. In Numbers chapters 1 to 4 HE called for a census of Israel over and over again and apportioned each tribe their purpose and duties. In chapter 5 HE specifically focused on the purity of Israel and restitution of wrongs since HE wanted every person pure and their hearts right towards each other forgiving one another. Then in chapter 6 HE commands and gives the priestly blessing to be spoken over the lives of HIS people. From all of these chapters, we can deduce how God wants us to live, an idea of what we should be doing and clearly what we should say and pray to our family and/or brethren. Please today, decide to always speak these blessings over the lives of your family and brethren.

Numbers 6:22-27 The Priestly Blessing
22 The Lord said to Moses,
23 “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them:
24“‘“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you
26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’
27 “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

We Will Walk With Heads Lifted High

We will walk with our heads held high! God, our Father, will make sure of this. Start now to look up to the hills where our help comes from. Our help comes from God Psalm 121

Leviticus 26:13

13 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high.

Continuing God’s Blessings

Continuing the declaration of His blessings over us (His blessings are overflowing and never ending), God says

Leviticus 26:11-12
11 I will put my dwelling place among you, and I will not abhor you.
12 I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people.

Favor, Increase, More Than Enough

Here’s what God is saying today as a continuation from our last verse in 2014. And it is not a coincidence that my mother in Nigeria shared this prayer with at the time this was written (how awesome is our God? Very awesome). From my Mom = Today, you will experience unprecedented favor upon your life & God will place the right people to help you at the right place & time in the Name of Jesus.

God’s word Leviticus 26:9-10
9 “‘I will look on you with favor and make you fruitful and increase your numbers, and I will keep my covenant with you.
10 You will still be eating last year’s harvest when you will have to move it out to make room for the new.
