What If God Never Speaks To Us?

What if God never speaks to us or gives us instructions through His words? It would be disaster unimaginable for us. So I submit that we are blessed two-fold 1. In receiving His word and 2. When God performs the words we receive from Him. Be confident that God never fails neither does His word produce nothing. So if you receive His word, no matter what things seem or feel like, hold on to His words until you see your change come. Leviticus 19 and 20 touch on similar things and have many instructions we must follow. If we do, these 2 results below will be ours; an increased harvest and God making us holy (read Lev. chapter 19 and 20 for full context).

Leviticus 19:25b
…In this way your harvest will be increased. I am the Lord your God.

Leviticus 20:7-8
7 “‘Consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am the Lord your God.
8 Keep my decrees and follow them. I am the Lord, who makes you holy.

Walking In Christ Preserves Our Lives

Fulfilling God’s will, living holy and not doing the perverse things this world does preserves the very grounds we walk on instead of defiling it. If you can stomach it, please read Leviticus 18 to see the perverseness that defiles the land. Is the same not happening now? So I bet you agree that we are blessed and in God’s awesome grace since the consequences in 18 have not been dealt to us or the world around us. Because of Christ we are spared Hallelujah!

Leviticus 18:29-30
29 “‘Everyone who does any of these detestable things—such persons must be cut off from their people.
30 Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God.’”

Don’t Be Unequally Yoked With Unbelievers

God has asked us to be separate from the world and not live like they do. As we obey Him, He has promised to bless us. Try, taste and see if God will do what He says if we sincerely stop living like perpetual sinners. Strive to live each day holy and pleasing to God.

Leviticus 18:1-5
1 The Lord said to Moses,
2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘I am theLord your God.
3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices.
4You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the Lord your God.
5 Keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the Lord.

2 Corinthians 6:14-18
14 Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?
15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever?
16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”
17 Therefore, “Come out from them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”
18 And, “I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.”

Examine Yourself And Get Spiritually Clean

In Leviticus chapters 13, 14 and 15, God has the priests “examining” a whole lot of His people to determine if they have a disease and to separate them from others if they were unclean and then reunite them with the people once they were clean. There is great wisdom here and obedience to examine ourselves or others which can help us evaluate our state of being to determine if we need a spiritual timeout so we can get back in God’s presence. This is a huge blessing. Stop or pause for a moment, truthfully examine yourself. Are you truly saved? If you are, are you living for God and pleasing Him? What do you need to do to get back in with the Lord or to rejoin His presence or people?

1 Corinthians 11:27-32
27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.
28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.
29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
30 That is why many among you are weak and sick, and a number of you have fallen asleep.
31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.
32 Nevertheless, when we are judged in this way by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be finally condemned with the world.

God Will Accept Whatever Offering From Those Close To Him

Please read Leviticus 12 and you’ll see God giving instructions to make sure we are pure before Him and that we can bring offerings to Him. The blessing in this is that we have a God who desires for us to always be close to Him and would accept the least of what we have as an offering from us. As long as we stay pure and can give from the little we have He is pleased with us. Lord, help us to learn from you and just like you to do all we can to accept our loved ones no matter what little they bring or give to us and that we always desire for them to be close to us in Jesus name, Amen. Please read Leviticus 12.

Be Careful About The Things You Let Into Your Body & Soul

In reading Leviticus 11 we can clearly see that not only does God desire for us to be close to Him, He wants us to remain pure and holy. Thus, His instructions are given to keep and protect us from harming ourselves with the things we eat. May God help us carefully choose not just the things we eat, but the things we see, hear and do daily so they are all pleasing to Him.

Please, if you can read all of Leviticus 11.

God Has Always Worked To Keep Us Close To Him

If you have noticed, from the beginning of creation, our God and Father has always made provision for us to be close/near Him. He has always wanted us next to Him and more than that He wants us to be like Him and share in all He has. So let’s renew our minds and walk away from trying to acquire things we think we Dont have like outsiders and begin to realize we are His (His priests and priestesses), living with Him, and sharing from the wealth of abundance that’s His. We are going outside to look for what we already have at home. So come back home!

Leviticus 10:12-15
12 Moses said to Aaron and his remaining sons, Eleazar and Ithamar, “Take the grain offering left over from the food offerings prepared without yeast and presented to the Lord and eat it beside the altar, for it is most holy.
13 Eat it in the sanctuary area, because it is your share and your sons’ share of the food offerings presented to the Lord; for so I have been commanded.
14 But you and your sons and your daughters may eat the breast that was waved and the thigh that was presented. Eat them in a ceremonially clean place; they have been given to you and your children as your share of the Israelites’ fellowship offerings.
15 The thigh that was presented and the breast that was waved must be brought with the fat portions of the food offerings, to be waved before the Lord as a wave offering. This will be the perpetual share for you and your children, as the Lord has commanded.”

Verses Of Encouragement When Under Man’s Pressures

Good morning, my wife shared this verse with me when I expressed the pressures of this world against me and I felt man was doing me wrong. I pray this comforts you too. She shared:

Blessed are we who our God loves! He is so perfect, powerful and magnificent. Our almighty God sees all and is there to deliver us from anything that causes or attempts to cause affliction for us. His word tell us:

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (NIV)
9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Hallelujah and thank you Jesus!
~God’s Peace Be With You~

Following God Leads To Blessings

Our God has given us a directive such that if we follow it, it will lead to blessings and peace for us. We are not to be drunken by wine and to me I think this implies for us to be untainted by things of or in the world so we can maintain His holiness and minister to His people.

Leviticus 10:8-11
8 Then the Lord said to Aaron,
9 “You and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come,
10 so that you can distinguish between the holy and the common, between the unclean and the clean,
11 and so you can teach the Israelites all the decrees the Lord has given them through Moses.”

Facing And Defeating Unholy Pressures At Work

Many times my heart has cried out for more of God so I can face this world and stand strong as well as victorious in the face of schemes and conflicts that men and women we work with or see daily create. I believe God’s promise to us, response and my hope is what I read next. Drawing nearer to Him and staying close to Him is where I’ll draw strength to face this world. Please pray for me that the evil I face at work daily does not overwhelm me.

Leviticus 10:3
3 Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the LORD meant when he said,
‘I will display my holiness through those who come near me.
I will display my glory before all the people.’”

Hebrews 10:22
22 let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

James 4:8
8 Draw near to God, and God will draw near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world.
