God’s Love For Us Is Why He Constantly Saves Us

How so loved we are by God. So loved that He never gives up on us. We are blessed because of His love and His acceptance of us. In Leviticus chapters 1 through 9, we see the many different types of offerings and sacrifices that had to be made to keep us in union with God. So many are our sins that God provisioned for our cleansing and union with Him. Now and today, we have but only one sacrifice to make which is giving our lives to Christ and yielding to Him as Lord and Savior. Compared to the previous many offerings and sacrifices, is it that hard to make this new and everlasting commitment? With as much love, mercy and forgiveness we have received, could we give what we have received to others who offend us? Isn’t it great to feel accepted or forgiven by God? So forgive also those who offend you.

Leviticus 9:24
24 Fire came out from the presence of the Lord and consumed the burnt offering and the fat portions on the altar. And when all the people saw it, they shouted for joy and fell facedown.

2 Corinthians 1:3-5
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,
4 who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
5 For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ.

For Oct. 27th: Are You A Living Sacrifice For God

Are you a living sacrifice for God? Is your sacrificial living a sweet aroma unto God? How is this a blessing to us? Our sacrificial living places us right before God, close enough that He can smell our sweet scent. Because He is near enough, we are in His presence, and in His presence is fullness of joy and life forever more, Amen!

Leviticus 1:
17 He shall tear it open by the wings, not dividing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is burning on the altar. It is a burnt offering, a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.

Psalms 16:11
11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Romans 12:1
1 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.

For Oct. 24th: Our Bodies Are God’s Temple

In the past there was the tabernacle and tent of meeting where God’s glory prevailed. Now we are blessed and honored that our bodies are His temples. As delicate and holy He regarded the former tabernacle, He regards us as more. Praise to the God Jehovah and may the glory of God fill us and may God give us the grace, wisdom and strength to honor His temples (our bodies) for His sake and use in Jesus name, Amen.

Exodus 40:34-35
34 Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
35 Moses could not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

1 Corinthians 6:19
19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself

Total Obedience To God Correlates To Our Prosperity; Spiritual and Physical

I believe that there is a correlation between our willingness and complete obedience to God and the flow of abundance and the state of living in more than enough. God has already set us up/prepared us for blessings and it is our willingness to obey Him that will cause us to receive and give abundantly. Likewise our obedience to use the skill He has given us for His glory will cause men and women to give to us in overflowing abundance so we may do God’s work (and not satisfy our own needs since God takes care of that).

Exodus 36:1-7
1 So Bezalel, Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord has given skill and ability to know how to carry out all the work of constructing the sanctuary are to do the work just as the Lord has commanded.”
2 Then Moses summoned Bezalel and Oholiab and every skilled person to whom the Lord had given ability and who was willing to come and do the work.
3 They received from Moses all the offerings the Israelites had brought to carry out the work of constructing the sanctuary. And the people continued to bring freewill offerings morning after morning.
4 So all the skilled workers who were doing all the work on the sanctuary left what they were doing
5 and said to Moses, “The people are bringing more than enough for doing the work the Lord commanded to be done.”
6 Then Moses gave an order and they sent this word throughout the camp: “No man or woman is to make anything else as an offering for the sanctuary.” And so the people were restrained from bringing more,
7 because what they already had was more than enough to do all the work

Are You Sitting On The Skills God Has Given You?

Has our God and Father not chosen us and gifted us with special skills? If so are we to sit on them or use them for His glory?

Exodus 35:30-35
30 Then Moses said to the Israelites, “See, the Lord has chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah,
31 and he has filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills—
32 to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze,
33 to cut and set stones, to work in wood and to engage in all kinds of artistic crafts.
34 And he has given both him and Oholiab son of Ahisamak, of the tribe of Dan, the ability to teach others.
35 He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.

You Will Glow In The Sight Of Others

Another blessing/promise that is more of revealed than it is spoken is the glory-shine that literally glows from our skins. I submit that if we are obedient to God, love Him and receive as well as live out His word each day we will be healthy looking and beautiful in the eyes of all who see us (even other believers who have not yielded as much as we have to God).
Exodus 34:27-32
27 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
29 When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the Lord.
30 When Aaron and all the Israelites saw Moses, his face was radiant, and they were afraid to come near him.
31 But Moses called to them; so Aaron and all the leaders of the community came back to him, and he spoke to them.
32 Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the Lord had given him on Mount Sinai.
Daniel 1:8-15
8 But Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the royal food and wine, and he asked the chief official for permission not to defile himself this way.
9 Now God had caused the official to show favor and compassion to Daniel,
10 but the official told Daniel, “I am afraid of my lord the king, who has assigned your food and drink. Why should he see you looking worse than the other young men your age? The king would then have my head because of you.”
11 Daniel then said to the guard whom the chief official had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah,
12 “Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink.
13 Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see.”
14 So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days.
15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.

Give Your First And Best To God

Last week we highlighted on why and how we should not come before God empty handed. In addition to this, whatever we bring needs to be the First and the Best of what we have. For all God has done for us, do you think He deserves the first and best from us?

Exodus 34:26
26 “Bring the best of the firstfruits of your soil to the house of the Lord your God.

Give To God From What He Has Given You

This verse is in quotes and in the translation I read, it stood alone all by itself as if it is intended to be visible and clear to all. Some have used this to demand or force Tithes from others. But here is my take on it below.

God made this statement to His people knowing He had already blessed them and He expected, because He had blessed them and knew they were blessed, that no one would come to Him without bringing a blessing from what He had given them. So from what He has given you, offer from it to Him an offering and/or Tithes.

Exodus 34:20
20 “No one is to appear before me empty-handed.

Our God Is Jealous Over Us

Good morning, you know how sometimes we get jealous over our spouses and the attention they give to others? Well God is even more jealous over us and He Dont play. As it is in heaven so let it be on earth. As we give God our total love, give your spouse his or hers too. There are immense benefits that come with obeying this. If we Dont our own children will lose their way. Not cool at all.

Exodus 34:12-16
12 Be careful not to make a treaty with those who live in the land where you are going, or they will be a snare among you.
13 Break down their altars, smash their sacred stones and cut down their Asherah poles.
14 Do not worship any other god, for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God.
15 “Be careful not to make a treaty with those who live in the land; for when they prostitute themselves to their gods and sacrifice to them, they will invite you and you will eat their sacrifices.
16 And when you choose some of their daughters as wives for your sons and those daughters prostitute themselves to their gods, they will lead your sons to do the same.

We serve The one and true living Awesome God. And He has promised to do awesome things for us that men around us would ‘wow’ when they see His work in our lives.

Exodus 34:10-11
10 Then the Lord said: “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the Lord, will do for you.
