Has God been evicted from your home? Do you still have room for Him? Is there a place prepared for Him in your heart or home? Do you even spend time with Him like you would with your best friend or spouse? God has said He “Will” dwell with you but you have to do something to make that happen. Exodus 25:8
8 “Then have them make a sanctuary for me, and I will dwell among them.

Revelations 21:3
3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God.

Is there a benefit to getting closer to God? Will you answer to His call to come to Him? Here are His promises to us if we come to Him

Exodus 24:12
12 The Lord said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”

Isaiah 55:3
3 Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.

Matthew 11:28
28 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.

And you thought the blessings/promises were over? Think again cause there’s more. Its is obvious from here that we do have to separate (be different from and not isolate from) sinful people and from sinfulness, the world and maintain our Worship to God to enjoy these benefits. So continuing from yesterday’s verse,

Exodus 23:23-33
23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites and Jebusites, and I will wipe them out.
24 Do not bow down before their gods or worship them or follow their practices. You must demolish them and break their sacred stones to pieces.
25 Worship the Lordyour God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you,
26 and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.
27 “I will send my terror ahead of you and throw into confusion every nation you encounter. I will make all your enemies turn their backs and run.
28 I will send the hornet ahead of you to drive the Hivites, Canaanites and Hittites out of your way.
29 But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals too numerous for you.
30 Little by little I will drive them out before you, until you have increased enough to take possession of the land.
31 “I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.
32 Do not make a covenant with them or with their gods.
33 Do not let them live in your land or they will cause you to sin against me, because the worship of their gods will certainly be a snare to you.”

Exodus 23:20-23
20 “See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.
21 Pay attention to him and listen to what he says. Do not rebel against him; he will not forgive your rebellion, since my Name is in him.
22 If you listen carefully to what he says and do all that I say, I will be an enemy to your enemies and will oppose those who oppose you.
23 My angel will go ahead of you and bring you into the land of…

Our God and Father has promised to hear the cry of those in need. So be rest assured that your cries are being heard and God will help!

Exodus 22:27b
When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

Hebrews 4:16
So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Our God be praised for we are no longer slaves to Egypt or things. And if we have been set free, should we not love our new master fully and give him our all?

Exodus 21:5
5“But if the servant declares, ‘I love my master

Leviticus 26:13
13 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt so you would no longer be their slaves. I broke the yoke of slavery from your neck so you can walk with your heads held high.

Galatians 4:7
7 So you are no longer slaves but God’s children. Since you are God’s children, God has also made you heirs.
8 When you didn’t know God, you were slaves to things which are really not gods at all.

Our God has promised to speak to us. There is a reasonable catch to this great benefit which is that we can serve no other gods nor make idols of any sort to worship. If we don’t honor and worship Him, why should He speak to us?

Exodus 20:22-23
22 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Tell the Israelites this: ‘You have seen for yourselves that I have spoken to you from heaven:
23 Do not make any gods to be alongside me; do not make for yourselves gods of silver or gods of gold.

Hebrew 12:25
25 Be careful that you do not refuse to listen when God speaks. Your ancestors didn’t escape when they refused to listen to God, who warned them on earth. We certainly won’t escape if we turn away from God, who warns us from heaven.

Matthew 4:4
4 Jesus answered, “Scripture says, ‘A person cannot live on bread alone but on every word that God speaks.'”

Here is a seemingly simple yet guaranteed formula/promise for long life. Are you using this formula diligently and consistently?

Exodus 20:12
12 “Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the Lord your God is giving you.

Ephesians 6:1-3
1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.
2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise—
3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”

Worship is truly a lifestyle. Meaning that everything we do must be in honor of our God. Is your daily desire or motive to please God in every single action you take or in the reactions you make? Please I encourage you, Dont let things, fear, worry, pride be your motivation rather let God and His words move you. God has promised us long lasting love to a 1000 generations if our worship is to Him alone.

Exodus 20:5-6
5 You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
