God Takes Away Our Shame

God takes away our disgrace/shame and replaces it with greatness and our exoneration. Rachel was barren for a season, but God later had mercy and took her shame away and she had Joseph who as we know became Pharaoh’s right hand man and the source of deliverance for Israel in a great famine.

Genesis 30:23-24
23 She became pregnant and gave birth to a son and said, “God has taken away my disgrace.”
24 She named him Joseph…

Isaiah 61:7
7 “Instead of their shame my people will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace they will rejoice in their inheritance; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.”

God Sees The Injustice Against Us, He Will Move In Our Favor

When God sees the hatred of the world upon us or the evil being thrown against us, it forces his hands and actions to move to our advantage. As God promised they will hate us because they hated our Lord Jesus. I say let them hate us for believing in and living for God. It will only mean my blessings are coming.

Genesis 29:31a
31 When the Lord saw that Leah was not loved, he enabled her to conceive,…

Matthew 5:10-11
10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

God Will Not Leave Us

God has promised not to leave us until His promises comes to pass in our lives and the lives of our children. We should be careful not to leave God, His word, or His will so we do not block this blessing. God will always remind us and our children of His promise just like He did for Abraham and his descendants.

Genesis 28:10-15
10 Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Harran.
11 When he reached a certain place, he stopped for the night because the sun had set. Taking one of the stones there, he put it under his head and lay down to sleep.12 He had a dream in which he saw a stairway resting on the earth, with its top reaching to heaven, and the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.
13 There above it stood the Lord, and he said: “I am the Lord, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac. I will give you and your descendants the land on which you are lying.
14 Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east, to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.
15 I am with you and will watch over you wherever you go, and I will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”

Our Lord Jesus Died To Give Us Abundant Life

Remember one of the reasons why our Lord Jesus died which was and is to give us an abundant life. His promise and blessings are certain for us who believe and abide in Him.

Genesis 28:3-4
3 May God Almighty bless you and make you fruitful and increase your numbers until you become a community of peoples.
4 May he give you and your descendants the blessing given to Abraham, so that you may take possession of the land where you now reside as a foreigner.

John 15:3-11
3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.
8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.
11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

A Prayer Of Blessings

Here is a blessing to one of our forefathers which has been fulfilled and confirmed multiple times over. Now may this blessing be re-applied to you and I in Jesus name, Amen.

Genesis 27:28-29
28 May God give you heaven’s dew and earth’s richness—an abundance of grain and new wine.
29 May nations serve you
and peoples bow down to you.
Be lord over your brothers,
and may the sons of your mother bow down to you.
May those who curse you be cursed and those who bless you be blessed.”

Did God Not PromiseTo Prosper Us?

Did God not promise to prosper us and give us success? Oh yes He did for those who love Him and live according to His word. And as He did for Isaac below, may He do for us in Jesus name, Amen.

Genesis 26:12-13
12 Isaac planted crops in that land and the same year reaped a hundredfold, because the Lord blessed him.
13 The man became rich, and his wealth continued to grow until he became very wealthy.

Joshua 1:7-9
7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.
8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

God Will Answer His People; Become His And Try Him

Our Lord promised to answer us when we call. He promised that if we asked, we would receive. He has performed this for us and He will do it again in Jesus name, Amen. And what He did for our Patriarchs, He can do for us. See Isaac’s story below:

Genesis 25:21-22
21 Isaac prayed to the Lord on behalf of his wife, because she was childless. The Lord answered his prayer, and his wife Rebekah became pregnant.
22 The babies jostled each other within her, and she said, “Why is this happening to me?” So she went to inquire of the Lord.

Mark 11:24 (NLT)
24 I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.

Matthew 7:7 (NLT)
7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.

35 The Lord has blessed my master abundantly, and he has become wealthy. He has given him sheep and cattle, silver and gold, male and female servants, and camels and donkeys.
